It used to be possible to add a household member’s card within the Chase online login and combine your Ultimate Rewards points with those of your household member, similar to the way you can combine points between your own cards.
Reader Christopher points out that Chase appears to have removed this option from within the online interface; the system now only shows the option for combining/transfering points between your own cards, not combing with a household members.
An r/chase member notes having the same issue and being told by Chase that they can only transfer now to an authorized user – they can’t simply add an account of a household member.
Those who already have a household member added are able to continue transferring, it’s just the online system no longer has the option for adding a new household member as a transfer option.
