Discover has improved the redemption rate when redeeming cash back for certain gift cards. Discover does something weird where it’s advertised as x% extra value, but it’s actually a x% discount which is better. These redemption rates vary over time, but I’ve never seen Happy or Chipotle gift cards this high:
