jetBlue has announced a list of changes:
- All change and cancellation fees will be removed on Blue, Blue Extra, Blue Plus and Mint fares. Blue Basic fares will be able to pay a fee to change/cancel ($100 for domestic, Caribbean, Mexico and Central America routes and $200 for all other routes). You’ll still need to pay the difference if the fare you’re switching to is more expensive and any cancellation is processed as a refund to the digital Travel Bank and that credit needs to be used within 12 months of issuance. If the fare is less expensive then the difference will also be credited to the Travel Bank.
- Guaranteed overhead bin space for one carry on bag for Blue, Blue Extra, or Mint fares. Blue Basic will be able to pay a fee for ‘Even More Space’. This policy goes into affect on July 20, 2021. This means no free carry on for Blue Basic.
