If you’ve previously matched your old Hyatt Platinum status to M Life gold and then matched that to the new Hyatt Explorist then you’re Explorist status will be due to expire on 2/28/18. M Life Gold status doesn’t expire until 9/30/18 though, this means you can match your M Life Gold to Hyatt Explorist until 2/28/19. You can do this match online here. Hyatt Explorist gives you the following benefits:

- 20% bonus on base points

I can’t really see this lasting long term, as it would effectively let people match between the two programs in a constant loop. But maybe there is a small enough number of people in this situation that it won’t be an issue (not really possible anymore as the Chase Hyatt card only gives Discoverist status).
If you’re having issues, follow these steps: log into Mlife in another tab first, then go to Hyatt page. If error is that you already matched then log out of Hyatt and log back in and see if it updated to 2019 anyway
